WHAT IS ISOBUS

The international standard 

that connects tractors to implements.

ISOBUS (ISO 11783) is the communication protocol that lets a tractor and an implement share data over a single cable — regardless of their manufacturer. Before ISOBUS, every implement needed its own proprietary terminal. With ISOBUS, one display controls everything.

FARMNAVIGATOR ISOBUS products are AEF-certified, which means they have passed rigorous interoperability testing against the full AEF database of certified machines. If it's AEF-listed, it works with FARMNAVIGATOR.

AvMap has been an AEF member since the early years of the standard — our engineering team has contributed to the development of the protocol and certified our displays against thousands of implement configurations. This is not a paper certification: it is the result of real-world testing across European field seasons.

Tractor and implement connect via ISOBUS harness
A single CAN bus cable carries all data between tractor, display and implement. Works on ISOBUS-ready tractors or via retrofit cable on any vehicle.

Display acts as Virtual Terminal (VT)
The FARMNAVIGATOR display replaces the proprietary implement terminal. All implement controls, readouts and alarms appear on one screen.

Task Controller automates section management
TC-SC switches boom sections on/off based on GPS position. TC-GEO applies variable-rate maps. All automatic — no operator input required.

Data flows to MyFarmnavigator.com
Work records, field coverage, application data and job reports sync automatically to the cloud — no manual export, no USB.

INSTALLATION

ISOBUS on any vehicle

— ready or not.

You don’t need to buy a new tractor to getall the benefits of ISOBUS connectivity: if your vehicle is not ISOBUS ready, no problem!
You can connect the G7 to the implement using the In-Cab cable in ISOBUS ready tractors, or via the ISOBUS retrofit cable in vehicles that are not equipped with an ISOBUS port.
